Description The Lockmaster 35/92 2 Hook 2 Roller Extendable PVC Multipoint Lock is fitted into uPVC doors where lifting the lever sends hooks and rollers out into the frame. It’s used to replace worn multipoint strips that run a 35mm backset with 92mm PZ centres. Inside the centre case you’ve got the latch and deadbolt, both operated by a Euro cylinder. Because it’s an extendable design, you can adjust it within the strip length rather than swapping over to a fixed size version. Furthermore, this lock has two hooks set either side of the centre case. The top hook sits 505mm from the centre case, and the bottom hook sits 530mm from the centre case, which gives you a hook-to-hook measurement of 1035mm. Along the strip there are two rollers, spaced at a 1345mm roller to roller measurement. This is so the door pulls evenly into the keeps. Anti lift pins are also included into the frame, which adds resistance against movement once the door is locked. When you lift the handle, the internal linkage drives the hooks and rollers out into their keeps. Turning the key then secures the central deadbolt within the centre case. The spindle runs through a single spindle follower inside the gearbox. Because this lock is extendable, the strip can be adjusted during installation to suit different door heights within the 2200mm range. We recommend continuous inspection of the hook and roller, making sure the door is properly aligned against the frame keeps. Light lubrication of the latch, hooks, rollers, and centre case will help you maintain a smooth lift lever for longer. The fixings should be checked regularly to prevent movement within the uPVC profile.
