Description The WMS 35/92 3 Deadbolt 4 Roller PVC Multipoint Lock is designed for uPVC doors that lock by lifting the handle before turning the key. It matches doors that use a 92mm PZ centres and Euro cylinder, while also providing a secondary 62mm handle centre for dual spindle handle sets. In addition, the 35mm backset positions the spindle behind the faceplate so the handles line up with the existing points. Along the door edge, a 16mm square end faceplate carries the locking components and locates the centre case in the middle of the strip. The centre case contains the latch and the deadbolt, while a hook locking point sits above the centre case and another sits below it. Consequently, the hooks measure 1215mm between the upper and lower locking points. Additionally, two rollers are also positioned along the strip, so they compress against the frame keeps as the lock operates. When the handle is raised, the lift-lever drives both hooks and rollers outward from the strip. At the same time, the rollers apply compression against the seals to pull the door tightly into the frame. A Euro cylinder passes through the centre case to secure the lock once the handle has been lifted. And to install it correctly, the top hook sits 570mm above the centre case and the bottom hook sits 645mm below it. During routine maintenance, check that the hooks move freely and enter the frame keeps without obstruction. Applying light lubrication to the latch, deadbolt, and hook s will help maintain the lift-lever and lock for longer.
