The lock suits doors using 92mm handle centres and euro profile cylinders, which allows it to replace many existing multipoint systems without changing the door. The latch keeps the door closed during operation, while lifting the handle drives the hook bolts into the frame to secure the door. For correct installation, a 16mm faceplate runs along the edge of the mechanism and fits into a square end recess commonly used on uPVC profiles. The centre case carries the latch and aligns with the primary frame keep. Hook locking points are positioned above and below the centre case along the strip. Furthermore, two adjustable cams are positioned along the faceplate to assist compression against the frame seals. To transfer handle movement through the locking system, the handle passes through a split spindle follower inside the centre gearbox. Lift lever operation then drives the hooks outward from the lock strip and into their frame keeps.
