Description The Yale Lockmaster 35/92 2 Hook 4 Roller PVC Multipoint Lock is fitted into uPVC doors where lifting the lever drives hooks and rollers out into the frame. It’s a straight replacement for worn Lockmaster strips that run a 35mm backset with 92mm PZ centres. In the middle you’ve got the centre case, which houses the latch and deadbolt, both operated by the Euro cylinder and handle set. From there, the extra hooks and rollers give you far more frame engagement than a latch and deadbolt only setup. The 16mm square end faceplate runs the full 2200mm length of the door edge, so it covers the complete strip. The centre gearbox sits in the middle position and lines up exactly to 92mm handle to cylinder centres. With a 35mm backset, the spindle and cylinder are positioned correctly through the door slab. Above and below that centre case you’ve got two hooks, and along the strip there are four rollers spaced out to pull the door tight into the keeps. Anti lift pins also engage into the frame, which helps resist any upward movement once the door is locked. When you lift the handle, the internal linkage drives out the two hooks and four rollers. After that, turning the key secures the central deadbolt within the centre case. The spindle runs through a single spindle follower inside the gearbox. Hook to hook measurement is 1490mm, which sets your vertical engagement points. The top hook sits 720mm from the centre of the lock case, and the bottom hook sits 770mm from the centre of the lock case. Roller to roller measurement is 1175mm across the strip. The mechanism itself is not extendable beyond the fixed 2200mm overall length. To keep it working as it should, regular checking of the hook throw and roller pressure helps maintain alignment against the frame keeps. Light lubrication of the latch, hooks, rollers, and centre case keeps the lift lever action smooth. Fixings should also be checked periodically so nothing starts to move within the uPVC profile.
