Description The Lockmaster 35/92 PLSP242-19 Sprung 2 Hook 4 Roller PVC Multipoint Lock is fitted into uPVC doors where lifting the lever drives hooks and rollers out into the frame. It’s used as a replacement for worn-out multipoint strips that operate on a 35mm backset with 92mm PZ centres. Inside the centre case you’ve got a sprung latch and a deadbolt, both operated by the Euro cylinder. Because the strip is extendable, it can be adjusted to suit different door heights as well. Furthermore, a 16mm square end faceplate runs along the door edge within a 2200mm overall length. The centre gearbox sits centrally and lines up with 92mm handle to cylinder centres, and with a 35mm backset, the spindle and cylinder are positioned correctly through the door profile. There are two hooks, with the top hook sitting 620mm from the centre case and the bottom hook sitting 590mm from the centre case. That gives you a hook-to-hook measurement of 1210mm. Anti lift pins are also fitted within the strip, adding resistance against movement when the door is locked. When you lift the handle, the internal linkage sends two hooks and four rollers out into their keeps. Turning the key will then secure the central deadbolt within the centre case. Because the lock is extendable, it can also be adjusted to suit the door height. We also recommend regular inspection of the hook and roller pressure to ensure proper compression against the frame keeps. Lightly lubricating the latch, hooks, rollers, and gearbox will help maintain a smooth lift lever action.
