Description The Lockmaster 35/92 2 Hook 4 Roller Long Extension PVC Multipoint Lock is designed to secure uPVC doors where you need extended locking coverage right along the sash. It’s used as a replacement for worn out 35mm backset Lockmaster gearboxes that suits doors with 92/62mm PZ handle sets. The lift lever action operates a central latch and deadbolt through a Euro cylinder, and installers tend to select this version when longer hook spacing is required to line up with the existing keeps. A 16mm square end faceplate runs the full 2200mm length of the door edge, so it gives you continuous coverage from top to bottom. The centre case sits in the mid position on the strip and carries both the latch and the deadbolt. From there, two hooks throw into the frame: One above and one below the centre case, while four rollers are positioned along the strip. This is made to compress against the keeps and provide weather seal pressure at the same time. When you lift the lever, the internal linkage drives both the hooks and the rollers. The latch retracts by handle operation, and the deadbolt then throws when the cylinder is turned. The 35mm backset positions the spindle and cylinder correctly within slim uPVC door profiles, while the 92mm handle centre lines up with standard lever handles. The 62mm secondary centre suits split spindle arrangements, and the dual spindle design keeps internal and external handle operation separate. Anti lift pins are also built in to resist forced upward movement of the door sash. On top of that, the extendable strip allows adjustment to suit door height where required. For maintenance, check the hook throw and roller compression against the keeps to make sure everything is engaging properly. Keep the faceplate fixings tight along the full 2200mm length, lubricate the latch, hooks, and rollers during service visits, and confirm the Euro cylinder turns freely with the deadbolt projecting fully into the keep.
