Description Lockmaster 35/92 3 Hook 4 Roller Unsprung Extendable PVC Multipoint Lock is made for uPVC doors where a 35mm backset centre case is required. It replaces previous Yale Lockmaster 21 strips where the 92/62mm duplex handle must remain in position. It also has a lever lift which drives the locking points into the frame keeps. The latch provides additional security once closed through the centre case. The strip is fitted with a 16mm square end faceplate that’s situated with the uPVC sash groove and runs through its full length of 2200mm. Positioned centrally along the strip, the centre case houses both the latch and the main hook. One additional hook is located 620mm above the centre case with another sits 585mm below. The distance between the two rollers is 1205mm which matches the keeps that have been drilled to that exact distance. Furthermore, the 92mm centre positions the cylinder in line with the upper spindle, while the 62mm centre aligns the cylinder with the lower spindle. That dual spindle setup is designed specifically for duplex handle sets, so both functions sit where they should without adjustment. If you’re dealing with a taller door, the lock can also be extended to suit increased door heights when required. Before you secure the strip, we recommend checking that the hook keeps align with the 1205mm spacing, otherwise you’ll run into frequent engagement issues. Make sure the rollers are contacting the frame properly as well, because that’s what maintains compression once your door is locked. It’s also good practice to lubricate the hooks and the centre case periodically, as this keeps the lift action running smoothly. Finally, inspect the anti-lift pins and confirm they’re engaging correctly into the frame, so the door remains secure when locked.
