Description The Lockmaster 35/92 Sprung Slave Multipoint Lock is fitted where the centre gearbox needs replacing but the full strip doesn’t. It’s suited to uPVC, composite, and timber doors prepared for a 35mm backset and 92mm PZ handle set. Inside the centre case you’ve got the latch and the Euro cylinder deadlocking function, so it’s typically chosen when the original Lockmaster slave case has failed but the outer keeps and additional locking points are still serviceable. The 16mm square end faceplate lines up with standard multipoint door edge preparations, and the centre box position aligns with 92mm handle to cylinder centres. With a 35mm backset, the spindle and cylinder sit correctly within the door profile. From there, the case connects into the existing multipoint strip, which means it will drive the remote hooks or rollers that are already fitted to the door. When you lift the handle, the internal mechanism operates and transfers movement along the strip. Turning the key through the Euro cylinder then secures the centre case. The sprung latch retracts through a single spindle follower. This unit is supplied as a slave box only, so it does not include additional hooks or rollers. The mechanism is extendable to suit adjustable strip lengths up to 2200mm overall. Routine lubrication of the latch and internal gearbox helps keep the lift lever action smooth. Fixings should be checked so the centre case remains secure within the door, and alignment between the latch and frame keep should be inspected after installation.
