Description The Yale Lockmaster 35/92 2 Hook White Faceplate Composite Multipoint Lock is made specifically for composite and timber doors prepared for a 35mm backset Lockmaster centre case. It’s used to replace failed gearboxes or a complete strip that run on 92/62mm centres with a euro cylinder. The lock operates on a lift lever action, so once the handle is raised the full multipoint sequence engages. This throws the hooks, setting up the locking points. After that, the key secures the central deadbolt within the gearbox. Along the door edge, the 44mm square end white faceplate fixes into the existing routed channel. The centre case also sits at the handle position, so it aligns correctly with the spindle and cylinder cut-outs. This lock also features a hook-to-hook distance of 1490mm, and this measurement needs to match the frame keep positions already fitted. With a 35mm backset, the follower and cylinder sit closer to the leading edge of the door. The 92/62mm centres keep the spindle and euro cylinder aligned as intended, and the dual spindle follower allows split handle operation between inside and outside. For maintenance, we recommend inspecting the hook engagement regularly to confirm it fully engages into the keeps. Apply light lubrication to the latch, hooks, and deadbolt to reduce resistance during lift. Also check that the faceplate remains tight against the door edge, as that prevents movement under load.
