Description The Lockmaster 45/92 3 Hook 20mm Faceplate Timber & Composite Multipoint Lock is designed to secure timber and composite doors built for a 45mm backset and 92mm PZ centre. It’s a like-for-like replacement for Yale Lockmaster multipoint locks where the handle operates the gearbox on a lift lever. The central case also provides both latch and hook locking through a key, and with two additional hooks, you get increased compression and resistance across the full height of the door. The 20mm square end faceplate runs the full 2200mm length of the door edge and sits flush within the routed channel. The centre lock case is set to suit 92mm handle centres with a 45mm backset measured from the faceplate to the spindle. Inside that centre gearbox you’ve got the latch and primary hook, while the top and bottom hooks are spaced 1485mm apart from hook to hook to line up with existing keeps. From the spindle follower through to the Euro cylinder position, the case aligns to 92mm PZ centres, and it also incorporates a secondary 62mm fixing for dual spindle handle sets. When you lift the lever, the hooks fire into the keeps first, because the key can then secure the lock. This lock is also not extendable, so it suits doors already prepared for a 2200mm overall strip length. To get the most out of the Lock, we advise routine maintenance, including lubricating the latch and hooks. During maintenance, check that the keeps align correctly with the hooks, and also inspect the spindle engagement and cylinder fixing to ensure continuous operation.
