Description Ingenious Duplex 45mm 5 Hook 20mm Radius End Multipoint Door Lock is fitted into composite and timber doors where a lift lever multipoint system is required. It replaces 45mm backset centre case locks using 92/62mm PZ measurement where both handles must line up with the existing cut outs. The lock also engages the lever when it’s lifted to drive the hooks into the frame keeps. This strip suits doors prepared for a euro cylinder with separate upper and lower spindles. The 20mm radius end faceplate sits into the door edge and follows a 1725mm routed channel. The centre case sits mid strip and carries the latch and the first hook. Two hook cases sit above the centre and two sit below it. The top hook sits 733mm from the centre case. The bottom hook sits 733mm from the centre case. The outer hooks sit 1466mm apart to meet keeps drilled to that spacing. The 45mm backset positions the cylinder correctly from the faceplate within the door stile. The 92/62mm PZ centres align the euro cylinder with a dual spindle arrangement. The upper spindle operates the lock when the lever is lifted. The lower spindle controls the latch for day-to-day access. The hooks throw into the keeps when the lever is raised and retract when the key is turned. The lock is not extendable, meaning the overall strip length cannot be adjusted and must match the existing door preparation.
