Description Era 45/92 4 Hook White Faceplate Composite Multipoint Lock is used when replacing a worn or outdated multipoint lock on composite or timber doors that are built around a 45mm backset and 92mm PZ configuration. It secures the door by combining a latch and deadbolt within a centrally positioned lock box. This system is used when consistent engagement along the door height is required rather than relying on a single central lock. The 2090mm overall length suits full-height door preparations commonly found in modern residential homes. Visually, the lock is finished with a 44mm square-end white faceplate that sits cleanly within the door edge. The square-end profile matches standard routed preparations found on many composite and timber doors. Its neutral white finish also blends effortlessly with contemporary door edges and hardware arrangements. Furthermore, the centred gearbox keeps handle furniture aligned in the usual mid-rail position. Operated via lift lever, the mechanism will engage the hooks and deadbolt when the handle is raised. The split spindle arrangement supports standard external handle while maintaining internal control. Four hook points are positioned with 700mm from the top hook to the centre and 700mm from the bottom hook to the centre. This provides a 1400mm hook-to-hook span for even compression along the frame. Additionally, the lock is non-extendable and designed specifically for composite and timber doors prepared for a 45mm backset and 92mm centres. Manufactured by ERA, this lock is built to be compatible with Euro cylinders and standard residential door hardware.
