Description The Era 45/92 4 Hook Brown Faceplate Composite Multipoint Lock is used when replacing or upgrading a full-length multipoint lock on composite or timber doors fitted with a Euro Cylinder. It secures the door through a lift-lever that engages four hook points along the frame. This increases resistance against forced entry compared with single-point locks. The latch and deadbolt are housed within a centred lock box to suit standard handle and cylinder layouts. Visually, the 44mm square-end faceplate is finished in brown to complement a wide range of door styles without drawing attention to the mechanism. Its straight-edged profile allows it to sit neatly within the door edge. The full-length 2090mm strip provides visual balanced along taller doors. The overall appearance is practical and consistent with typical composite and timber door hardware. And instead of a single locking point, the ERA 45mm 4 Hook 44mm secures the door through a lift Lever with a split spindle arrangement. The lock incorporates four hook points consisting of two primary hooks and an additional pair. The top hook sits 700mm from the centre, and the bottom hook also measures 700mm from the centre, creating a 1400mm hook-to-hook span. The backset measures 45mm, and the centres (PZ) are 92mm. The lock is not extendable and is manufactured for fixed length installation and designed for composite and timber doors.
