Description The Yale 35/92 YS170 3 Hook 4 Roller Multipoint Lock is made to replace multipoint strips where the handle and cylinder sit on 92mm centres. This version positions the handle spindle 35mm back from the door edge, so make sure the right size is selected when the existing door preparation uses the same backset. For the ideal installation, the 16mm square end faceplate runs the length of the strip and positions the centre case in the middle of the mechanism. The centre case contains the latch and the main hook, while two further hooks sit above and below it along the strip. In addition, four rollers run along the faceplate and compress against the frame keeps. The hook also measures 1420mm from the top hook to the bottom hook to align perfectly with the frame keeps. To secure the door, lifting the handle will instantly drive the hooks into their frame keeps. At the same time, the rollers compress against the frame and pull the door tightly into the seals. A Euro cylinder passes through the centre case and secures the mechanism once the lever is lifted. The spindle also passes through the centre case at 92mm PZ using a single spindle.
