Description The Mila 35/92 AS4350 2 Round Bolt PVC Multipoint Lock is used when you want a euro cylinder multipoint on a uPVC, composite, or timber door, but with extra deadbolt points rather than hooks or rollers. It’s commonly used as a replacement where the existing lock has worn or failed. The central latch and deadbolt guarantee a secure close, while the two additional round deadbolts increase the number of solid frame fixing points once the handle is lifted. This type of strip suits doors where a straightforward deadbolt engagement is preferred across the entire frame of the door. Visually, the 16mm square-ended faceplate keeps the lock line crisp along the door edge and matches the straight look of most uPVC and composite doors. It also features a narrow plate which helps sit neatly alongside the existing hinges and keeps. The square ends also provide a tidy finish at the top and bottom of the strip without looking over-sized. Its practical appearance make sit well suited for doors where the lock to blends rather than hides behind the handles and trim. The gearbox is centre-positioned and uses a latch and deadbolt to operate the lift-lever. Handle and cylinder alignment follow a standard size, with a 35mm backset and 92mm (PZ) centres on a euro cylinder. The two round deadbolts are positioned 730mm above the centre and 760mm below the centre, giving a 1490mm deadbolt-to-deadbolt. This strip is not extendable and has an overall length of 2170mm. This is made to match standard door heights where the existing routing and keeps already suit the fixed length. To keep the lock running smoothly, we recommend using a light lubricant into the gearbox and along moving parts, so the lift-lever operation stays free. Avoid heavy grease, as it can hold dirt and stiffen the mechanism over time, especially around the locking points. It’s also sensible to check door adjustment and keep alignment during servicing. When you change a multipoint strip, it’s worth inspecting the euro cylinder and door handles as well to ensure consistent alignment across the locking system.
