Description The Mila/KFV 35/92 AS4921 2 Hook 2 Roller PVC Multipoint Lock is fitted to uPVC doors when you want the door held tight to the frame at more than one point, rather than relying on a single latch. It’s the ideal replacement for the original Mila-style 35/92 layout if you need the same handle and cylinder position without reworking the door. The central latch and deadbolt provide the primary lock point, and the hooks add anchoring when the handle is lifted. The two rollers support compression along the edge, which helps reduce door movement while improving the sealing against the keeps. The 16mm faceplate sits neatly within the door edge and the square-ended profile keeps the finish looking straight and uniform along the strip. This narrow faceplate width is a common match for uPVC door routings, so it blends in behind the handles without looking bulky. The locking points are also spaced out along a single continuous strip. This keeps the door edge tidy and consistent across modern uPVC frames and replacement hardware. Technically, the lock case is positioned to align with typical door handle height while using a latch and deadbolt as the primary locking point. It works with a euro cylinder and locks through a lift-lever, driven by a single spindle, with a 35mm backset and 92mm (PZ) centres. In addition, the strip also includes two additional hooks and two rollers, with a hook-to-hook measurement of 1185mm, a top hook to centre measurement of 580mm, and a bottom hook to centre measurement of 605mm. Roller spacing is set at 1590mm roller-to-roller, and the full strip length is 2230mm, with a non-extendable construction intended to match fixed measurement replacements. For consistent day-to-day use, keep the gearbox and moving points lightly lubricated so the hooks and rollers travel smoothly when the handle is lifted. A light spray is commonly used for this type of mechanism, and thick grease is best avoided because it can collect grit and make the lock heavy over time. It’s also worth checking that the door is correctly adjusted in the frame, as hooks and rollers work best when they meet their keeps without binding. If you are renewing the strip, inspecting the euro cylinder and handles at the same time helps ensure the spindle drive and locking points remain consistent across the whole door.
