Description The Millenco 35/117 3 Hook, 2 Deadbolt 2 Roller PVC Multipoint Lock is used on uPVC doors where a worn or failed multipoint strip needs replacing. It is made for doors that operate via a lift lever and uses a Euro cylinder lock for straightforward installation. The centre lock box combines a latch and hook that secures the door in a closed position before its fully locking. This non-extendable design is made intentionally to replace Millenco hardware while retaining your existing door preparation. Visually, the mechanism runs the full height of the door with a 2200mm overall length to suit standard uPVC doors. A 16mm square end faceplate provides a clean, straight finish along the edge of the sash. The central gearbox sits in the middle of the strip, keeping handle aligned with 117/85mm PZ centres. In addition, rollers are positioned along the strip to assist in pulling the door tightly into the frame when the handles are lifted and locked. The Millenco 35/117 3 Hook features a 35mm backset that places the spindle and cylinder correctly within the uPVC door. The dual spindle arrangement supports lift lever operation and ensures consistent engagement of all locking points. Two additional hooks and two deadbolts are positioned 600mm above and 700mm below the centre case. This creates a hook-to-hook measurement of 1300mm and a roller-to-roller span of 1620mm for balanced compression and security along the door edge. Lastly, this lock operates with two rollers, two additional hooks, and two additional deadbolts that work in conjunction with the central latch and hook for additional security. To get the most out of your multipoint door lock we recommend lightly lubricating the internal gearbox and moving parts with light machine lubricant. Heavy grease should be avoided because it can attract dirt and restrict movement. When replacing the mechanism, it is practical to check the Euro cylinder and handles for wear and tear to ensure continuous operation and alignment.
