Description The Millenco 35mm 3 Hook 2 Deadbolt 2 Roller 16mm Face Plate Multipoint Door Lock is fitted to uPVC front doors where a worn-out multipoint strip needs replacing. It operates on a lift lever system that uses a Euro cylinder which can be upgraded for additional security. The centre lock box combines a latch and hook to secure the door before the additional locking points engage. As a non-extendable model, this lock is intended for direct replacement and instant updates. The lock runs to an overall length of 2200mm to suit standard uPVC front doors. A 16mm square end faceplate provides a straight edge along the door profile. The central gearbox aligns with 95/65mm PZ centres to match with compatible handles. Furthermore, rollers are included along the strip to help draw the door sash tightly into the frame when the handle is lifted. Technically, the 35mm backset places the spindle and Euro cylinder in the correct position relative to the faceplate and handle cut-outs. The dual spindle arrangement supports lift lever operation while ensuring smooth movement for the handle to the locking points. Two additional hooks and two deadbolts sit 610mm above and 690mm below the centre case. This provides a 1300mm hook-to-hook measurement, spreading security and compression evenly along the door’s frame. Lastly, we recommend using a light lubricant on the gearbox and moving components to maintain smooth operation for longer. Heavy grease should be avoided as it can attract debris and restrict movement over time. When replacing the lock, check the Euro cylinder and door handles to ensure compatibility and overall door security.
