Description The Millenco Mantis 45/92 2 Hook 3 Deadbolt Composite Multipoint Lock is fitted when a composite or timber front doors requires an instant replacement for an existing Millenco Mantis strip. It operates on a lift lever, so lifting the handle throws the locking points before the key secures the Euro cylinder. The centre lock box contains both a latch and a deadbolt. This holds the door closer before the full lock is applied to all the locking points. It also offers a non-extendable lock that is designed to replace matching Mantis units without modifying the door or frame. Visually, the 2200mm strip suits standard composite and timber doors. The 44mm square end faceplate provides a more substantial finish that complements the door’s furniture as well as hardware. It is available in brown, white, and tan to coordinate with different door frames. The central gearbox is also designed to align with 92/62mm PZ centres to maintain handle and cylinder positioning. Within a typical composite or timber door setup, the 45mm backset positions the spindle and Euro cylinder correctly in relation to the handle cut-outs. The dual spindle also supports lift lever operation and transfers movement evenly through the lock. Two additional hooks are positioned 625mm above and 675mm below the centre case. This provides 1300mm hook-to-hook measurement that works alongside three deadbolts to secure the door at multiple points along its height. For continued smooth operation, the gearbox and moving components should be maintained periodically with a light lubricant. Heavy grease should be avoided because it attracts debris and can hinder movement within the strip.
